How do I assign a task to a responsible person?

There are three ways to assign a task to a responsible person:

  1. Open the case in which you want to assign a task to a person and click ‘Assign members’ on the left side of the screen, under the list which shows the tasks and statuses. A pop-up window will open where it is possible to select who should be assigned to the tasks available. Click ‘Edit’, and in the popup window that opens you can see all your employees in the office assigned the tasks, or all employees. The tasks shown in this view with a dot are only available for one responsible person, while tasks with a square are eligible for several responsible users. It is also possible to set the start and end times for the tasks from this window, and to change the assigned person, by clicking ‘Edit’. Note! Only certified users for the type of task can be selected.

 

  1. Open the case in which you want to assign a task, then select the task by clicking on it on the left side of the screen (where you see all tasks in the case with statuses). When you’ve opened the task, click, make sure you’re opened the ‘Task information’ tab, then click ‘Edit’ to the right of ‘Assignee’ (just above the map). In the window that opens you can choose the responsible user (or users) and add a start and end time for the task. By default, the list will show members from the assigned office, but it is possible to change the list so that it displays all members in the company. To appear on the list the user must be certified for the task type.

 

  1. It is possible to select a default person who will automatically be assigned to a task assigned to the office. A person can be selected as automatic member choice for individual tasks, or for all tasks assigned to the office. This setting is set by an admin in your company.
