Why doesn’t the app send my reported items to the web portal and the status is lower in the portal?

Check this if you see that the status of a task is lower in the web portal than in your application:

  • This usually happens if your mobile device isn’t connected to the internet. No report items or information will be lost due to this. Check your internet connection and try also to connect your device to a Wi-Fi network if it is possible. When you have an internet connection the application will automatically start sending all the messages. The number of unsent messages is shown on top, on iOS it is located in the centre of the screen, on Android it shows in the top right corner.
  • If your connection and internet is working and you have an android device, go to settings and select network settings. Select APN connection points and check that the option with “internet’ is chosen in the list.
  • If you have an iPad and iPhone, it is important to remember that these devices have limited possibilities to send items in the background. First check that you have an internet connection. Open the application and keep it open until the number next to the outbox in the case list is zero. When this number is zero all items have been sent to the web portal.
  • Please remember that right after finishing the inspection it will probably take a few minutes before all messages have been sent. If you turn off your device during this time, no messages will be sent before you again turn on the android, and for an iPhone you will need to open the application again.
  • Make sure you have got the latest version of the application.
  • If none of the tips above help, contact in4mo. Please note that you should never delete the app from your device if you have unsent messages, as these messages will be permanently deleted, and it will not be possible to restore them.
